Do I need a referral to make an appointment?

A: This depends on your insurance. Most insurance companies no longer require a referral however we recommend verifying with your insurance company if you are unsure. Most medical specialists prefer referred patients. This is mainly to try to ensure that the specialist you are seeing is appropriate for you and your condition. Check with your insurance company to see if a referral is necessary.

What to bring for your initial consultation?

  • Driver's License or a valid ID
  • Insurance information
  • Completed forms
  • Reports, X-rays, MRIs, CT scans etc. and any other relevant information

A: The non-surgical treatment options include activity modification, oral and topical medications including analgesics and antibiotics, bracing, injections including steroids, viscosupplementation, and PRP, along with physical/occupational therapy.
